It seems to me that we humans are rather ungrateful to the natural world for being and doing it all first. All patterns, shapes, and colors began with nature. As an artist, I can only hope to work with the originals given freely to me by this nature of ours and perhaps allow an audience to view them from a slightly different angle, a distortion imposed by my materials and my not-so-perfect eye.
