Our previous publishing name was Heliotrope: A Writer's Summer Solstice. Under Heliotrope, we published a yearly journal of poetry and prose for eight years during which time we got to know some wonderful writers and downright all-around good people. We also conducted two chapbook contests, paying the authors and publishing their chapbooks in artist-designed, hand-stitched and -bound volumes.
